Templar is an epic adventure set in medieval times that uses platformer gameplay to advance its plot.
In Templar, you become a young templar in a world suffering from a deadly plague, populated by possessed and tormented spirits and other templars who have sold their souls to the devil. Your objective is to make your way through the game's 20 levels as you uncover your character's story. As you play, you'll fight against a whole cast of enemies who will occasionally leave objects in your inventory. You can also find and talk to other templars who have had a worse time than you and will tell you more about exactly how things went down.
Gameplay in Templar is really simple: each level is platform based. To move your character, there's a virtual D-pad on the left and three action buttons on the right: sword, kick and jump. With these buttons, you can attack your enemies. And as you advance, you'll learn more about the story through comic-style screens where your character reacts or interacts with the environment.
All in all, Templar is a unique platformer with an awesomely gruesome look that's sure to catch your eye.
